Golf Fore Health Offers Rehabilitation Through Golf
30 participants from Golf Fore Health gathered on June 28th for the final golf play date of their first session for 2023. Before heading out for golf, a group photo was taken for everyone to enjoy.
Their second session will begin again in September for another 8 weeks. This program takes a summer break as the Sacramento heat sets in. Despite having play suspended until September, this group decided they still want to keep their golf momentum going. Their plans are to meet over the summer months every other Monday morning to keep their golf skills sharp with “Summer School” at the back of the driving range. This is a wonderful group that enjoys friendship as well as a good golf game.
Golf Fore Health offers rehabilitation through golf. It’s wonderful to rehabilitate outside on the golf course instead of inside in a Physical Therapy office. The program has been growing in leaps and bounds over the past few years and includes participants aged 16 through their early 80s. Such growth has been made possible through the dynamic coaches and volunteers that work with the participants. Golf Fore Health is another example of how the Morton Golf Foundation uses golf as a tool for enriching people’s lives.
